| Introducing the
. . . LVS-15 Liquid Agent Tank |
| |
For the protection
of mobile mining equipment, the ANSUL® LVS-15
liquid agent tank is designed for those applications
where space is
at a premium and twin agent fire suppression
technology is preferred or required.
With a smaller
footprint, the LVS-15 provides a compliment where
dry-chemical-only vehicle fire
suppression systems were previously used. Examples
include smaller mining equipment such as motor
graders, haul trucks, dozers, graders, landfill
compactors and agricultural processing equipment.
Important features include:
| • |
|
The
system provides for a simultaneous
discharge of both dry chemical and LVS liquid
agent with no effect on dry chemical fire
suppression characteristics. |
| |
|
|
| • |
|
New LVS 9.5 nozzle
will provide for aiming directly at identified "hot" spots:
turbochargers, manifolds, hydraulic pumps,
etc. |
| |
|
|
| • |
|
Use of 3 or 4 nozzles for each LVS-15 tank
(depending on the hazard). |
| |
|
|
| • |
|
Use of 6 or 8 nozzles for each LVS-30 tank
(depending on the hazard). |
