ANSUL FIRE SCHOOLS

 
Every year, the ANSUL Fire School trains hundreds of customers from around the world in the basics of hands-on firefighting.  Since 1940, the school has trained thousands of first responders from high hazard/high risk industries such as aviation, mining, oil & gas, chemical, utility, fire service, and metal processing. The basic three-day program includes a mixture of classroom and field instruction – with heavy emphasis on live hands-on firefighting using cartridge-operated and stored pressure extinguishers, wheeled extinguishers, and hoseline apparatus.

The Foam Design & Specification program includes all areas of design, equipment selection, foam agent application, and installation of fixed foam systems for a variety of hazards in accordance with the appropriate NFPA standards. Also offered is the Foam Service & Maintenance program which provides an overview of the basic types of fixed foam systems with focus on the correct service and maintenance procedures including actual hands-on experience on foam testing procedures, bladder tank filling and more.
